Crystalline Emotion

Geometric frost stuck inside a cave
Cubed laughter, hexagonic stories
Iced and encased in a room of memories
Permafrost nestled within the chamber

Licks of magma in another chasm
Heating the gorge, imbuing it with warmth
Rivers of lava flow from the top
To cradle each empty pool it encounters

A girl long remained in that subterranean cavity
Recalled in memory another feminine figure
Whimsical and vanishing was not her thoughts of her
They remained as steadfast as the ice in her mind

Within the hollows of her heart
Warmth and tranquility stayed
Constant contemplation of their past
Ate at the very core of her being

Between the chamber and chams
Rested a pool of cool waters
Where crystalline emotions dwell
...and where something else begins again
